Work for twentysix London
MINT CARD WEBSITE INTRO
twentysix London had been commissioned to design and build the Mint credit card official website and they wanted a new Flash intro involving their stripes brand aesthetic sliding in. Unfortunately I lost the .swfs; only these screen caps remain.
ANIMAL PLANET ANIMATION PROJECT
This short video is 2 buffer clips (played one after the other) which in theory would be played between scheduled Animal Planet programming and the TV adverts during program breaks. This was a theoretical brief set by myself.
Inspired by the study of biomimetrics (human design based on processes/lifestyle forms found in nature) I chose to illustrate the aerodynamic design of airplane wings and their inspiration; bird wings. The 2 animations (each a several seconds long) showed the metamorphasis of a swan into an airplane. The first part of the animation showed a swan taking off, and is concluded with the swan transforming into a plane.

HUMAN NATURE SHORT ANIMATED FILM
A short animated film inspired and combined with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 in E flat major (Op. 55), also known as the ‘Eroica’.
I decided to alter the ending from my storyboards because the more I listened to the piece, the more I found the piece of music to be some what ironic, as if there was some kind of twist at the end. So instead of the usual cute animal disney-esque film, the twist was that the conclusion is much more realistic then what you would expect.
